On 2 April 2020, pro-STC forces (coded as Security Belt forces) reportedly ambushed a pro-Hadi Islah group in Al Mahfid area (Al Mahfad, Abyan) by firing RPG grenades at the convoy, destroying 3 military vehicles and killing and injuring the pro-Hadi elements that were on board. The convoy was reportedly headed towards Shuqrah city. Unknown number of fatalities and injuries coded as 10.
