On 4 January 2023, in Aungmyaythazan township (Mandalay district, Mandalay region), the ACID Army People Defence Force Mandalay carried out two grenade attacks against the Myanmar military troops stationed at Regional Hluttaw Office at around 6:30 pm. Casualties unknown.
