On 4 January 2023, in Kyar Hnyat village of Thabeikkyin township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), joint forces of Wild Elephant Guerrilla Force and the People's Defense Force (Pa Ka Pha) carried out a drone strike against the Myanmar military troops and Pyu Saw Htee member who were gathering inside the village administration office. The drone strikes killed members of Pyu Saw Htee and injured two military soldiers.
