On 2 January 2023, between Myay Ne and Moe Hnyin villages (coded as Myay Ne) (Monywa township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Peace Takers Task Force and the Brightness - Monywa carried out mine attacks against a Myanmar military column of around 100 soldiers with three mines at around 1:24 pm. Casualties unknown.
