On 21 December 2022, in Nyaung Pin Kwin village (Tanintharyi township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the Myanmar military based in Baw Di Kan village and the IB-561 fired at least 30 artillery rounds indiscriminately between 11 am and 6 pm. Four villagers were injured.
