On 29 December 2022, in Ka Se Hpoe village of Bilin township (coded as Bilin) (Thaton district, Mon state), military forces from the Strategic 2 military camp under the No (8) Operation Command Headquarters stationed near the Me Pa Li village and military forces stationed in the Zee Kone Mountain fired at least ten artillery shells at the village at around 11:30 am and two shells exploded in front of a house and injured four people. The house was damaged.
