On 27 December 2022, between Nat Yae Kan and Kin Mun Taw villages of Chaung-U township (Monywa district, Sagaing region), joint forces of the People's Defense Force - Monywa District Battalion-6 (Unit-1) and Chaung-U People's Defense Force carried out an attack using two cluster mines against the Myanmar military troops at around 3:30 pm. Casualties unknown.
