On 31 December 2022, in Ka Li village (Bago township, Bago district, Bago-East region), a combined force of the Bago PDF and Daik- U Defense Force (DDF) attacked the Ka Li military checkpoint with mines at around 4:55 am. The attack was carried out under the name of Operation 'Nan Htike Aung' under the NUG. Two military soldiers were injured.
