On 31 December 2022, in Bago town (Bago township, Bago district, Bago-East region), a combined force of the Bago PDF and the Daik-U PDF carried out a mine attack on the security gate of the military's main logistic corps at around 4:45 am, killing two military soldiers. Separately, they attacked the No (2) police station with mines at around 10:45 am. The attacks were carried out under the name of Operation 'Nan Htike Aung' under the NUG.
