On 26 December 2022, near Ku Daw Gyi Taw village of Tabayin township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), a local People's Defense Force carried out an attack using five cluster mines against the Myanmar military troops at around 2 pm. Three military soldiers died and several others were injured.
