On 23 December 2022, in Hpa Yar Htwet village of Tabayin township (coded as Tabayin) (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), an artillery shell fired by the Myanmar military based in Pyan Kya village landed in a paddy field near the village. There were no casualties.
