On 23 December 2022, in Sagaing town (Sagaing township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), the Royal Phoenix PDF threw a grenade at the District Department of Agriculture office in Pan Be Tan ward at around 2 pm. Seven staff and two visitors including an 11-month old child were injured.
