On 23 December 2022, between Ka Lein Pa Daw and Pyaw Thar Yar villages (coded as Ka Lein Pa Daw) (Thanbyuzayat township, Mawlamyine district, Mon state), the Mon State Mount Taungnyo People Guerrilla Force carried out mine attacks against two Myanmar military vehicles traveling from Thanbyuzayat to Ye at around 3:50 pm. Two military soldiers were killed and one was injured.
