On 27 December 2022, in Zin Chaung village of Thabeikkyin township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military troops from 368th Light Infantry Division (LIB) and Pyu Saw Htee members fired heavy artillery shells on the village and set fire to houses at around 11 am. Casualties unknown.
