On 27 December 2022, between Pin Lel and Kan Ni villages of Myingyan township (Myingyan district, Mandalay region), a local People's Defense Force carried out mine attack against a military vehicle carrying reinforcement troops at around 2 am. Four military soldiers died in the attack.
