On 15 December 2022, in Insein township (Yangon-North district, Yangon region), an unidentified local defense force attacked a compound of the Myanmar military IB-16 near the Burma Pharmaceutical Industry (BPI) with two 107mm improvised rockets at around 8:30 pm. Casualties unknown.
