On 12 December 2022, in Ah Nyar Hpyar village (Dawei township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of Dawei Defense Team (DDT) and Thayetchaung People Defense Guerrilla Force (TYCPDGF) attacked a column of about 100 military soldiers with two mines near the village cemetery at about 7:20 pm. Casualties unknown.
