On 16 December 2022, near Ohn Pauk village of Shwebo township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Burma Rangers (Shwebo) carried out eight cluster mines against a military vehicle at around 11 am on Shwebo-Kyauk Myaung Road. Six military soldiers, including a military officer died in the attack.
