On 14 December 2022, in Ahr Lar Kat Pa village (Myinmu township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Black Eagle Defense Force-MMU and the Myinmu PDF (PaKaPha) attacked Myanmar military soldiers, who were lying in ambush while on guard at the Shwe Gu monastery, with a bomb attached to a drone at around 4:50 pm. Four military soldiers were killed and three were severely injured.
