On 16 December 2022, near Let Pwa village of Mindon township (Thayet district, Magway region), the Eagle Force carried out a mine attack against a military's vehicle carrying about ten Myanmar military soldiers at around 9:56 am. The ten military soldiers were heading toward Let Pwa village to investigate the assassination of a 40-year-old military informant. One military soldier died and five others were injured.
