On 20 December 2022, in Ka Maing (Ka Mar Inn) Kone village (Kawkareik township, Kawkareik district, Kayin state), artillery rounds fired by the military targeting Kawt Nwe village landed on the lower part of the Ka Maing Kone village, hitting over 10 animals. Casualties unknown.
