On 11 December 2022, in Taung Kyar Inn village (Kawkareik township, Kawkareik district, Kayin state), the military stationed in Tan Dar Kyoe village (under the No.12 Military Command Headquarters) fired 120 mm artillery rounds at around 7:05 pm and five of which landed behind the village hospital, destroying two houses. There were no casualties.
