On 18 December 2022, in Tanai township (Myitkyina district, Kachin state), the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) carried out mine attacks twice against the Myanmar military convoy vehicles carrying about 100 military troops and Warazup People's Militia on Lido Road. Casualties unknown.
