On 12 December 2022, in Long Ja village (Momauk township, Bhamo district, Kachin state), the Momauk based military LIB 437 fired at least ten artillery shells into the KIA camp on Lon Ja Bum at 12 midnight and the shells exploded in the Long Ja village. Casualties unknown.
