On 29 December 2022, two bombs went off in the Pul Matak area of Jabulussaraj district, Parwan and killed 0-10 Taliban members and wounded 0-2 in two rangers. Some sources claimed NRF conducted the attack but the group denied it. The Taliban said only two members were wounded and didn't confirm fatalities. Taliban arrested six civilians from the Tatamdre village of the district after the attacks.
