UAV event in Dnipropetrovsk, Marhanets area, Ukraine on Mon 19th December 2022

On the night of 18-19 December, the Russians attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with kamikaze drones, heavy artillery and Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, resulting in much destruction. Source: Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, on Telegram. Quote: "Our defenders from Air Command Skhid (East) destroyed two drones over the Oblast. Those were Iranian-made Shaheds." The occupiers fired more than 60 rockets from Grad multiple-launch rocket systems and heavy artillery into Nikopol Oblast. Towns and villages were shelled in three hromadas [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories - ed] - Chernohryhorivka, Myrivka and Marhanets. There were no casualties. There was a lot of destruction everywhere." Details: Reznichenko specified that 11 private houses, 6 outbuildings, cars, a gas pipeline and a power line were hit in the Chernohryhorivka hromada.
