A combined team of Thoubal Police Commando and 16 Assam Rifles arrested two militants of People’s Liberation Army (PLA), identified as Maibam Kanta Singh and Bhumeshor Thoudam, both hailing from Litan Makhong, Heirok Part-II of Thoubal District, along with explosives and other arms and ammunition from Litan Makhong, Heirok Part-II in Thoubal District of Manipur on December 20, reports The Sangai Express. The recoveries included one Glock 9mm pistol with a magazine, two 9mm pistols with magazine, 90 live rounds of 9 mm, nine Chinese-made hand grenades, eight detonators, one wired detonator, one remote control and a 9-volt battery, three wireless detonator receivers and three mobile phones were also recovered from the militants
