It was reported on 10 April 2020, that Houthi forces had shelled 17 areas in Taizz, Ad Dali, and Abyan governorates with artillery and other weapons fire since the imposition of a unilateral ceasefire by pro-Hadi and coalition forces at 12pm on 9 April. Areas included frontlines in Al Qabbaytah district (Lahij) on the Lahij-Taizz border, Aqabat Thirah (Mukayras, Al Bayda) on the Al Bayda-Abyan border, and the Jabal Murays front (Qaatabah, Ad Dali). There were no reports of injuries or fatalities.
