Projectile event in Misrata, Bani Walid area, Libya on Mon 12th December 2022

The Explosives Handling Unit at the National Safety Authority office in Bani Walid removed on Monday three medium and heavy shells from a farm in Wadi al-Mardom, east of the city. A resident from the area reported a suspicious body, which turned out to be an unexploded ordnance on his farm. The authority said the de-mining team immediately moved to the site and transferred the item to a bomb assembly spot in preparation for their disposal. The National Safety Authority renewed its call to all citizens not to approach any foreign objects and to report any incident to the relevant authorities.
