On 4 December 2022, an under vehicle IED (UVIED) by suspected Al Shabaab detonated, targeting a civilian working at the Finance Department of the Aden Ade International Airport (AAIA) outside of his home at the Ceelqalow neighborhood in Mogadishu - Wadajir (Banadir). There were no casualties.
