On 7 December 2022, in Monywa township (Monywa district, Sagaing region), a combined force of Tha Pyay Nyo Guerrilla Force, Ayadaw Bone Naing PDF, Ayadaw Falcon Force (AF2), and AMT Ground Guerrilla Force ambushed a military vehicle with landmines on the Ayadaw-Monywa Road at around 10 am. Three military soldiers were killed, and five others were injured.
