On 7 December 2022, in the west of War Tan village (Ayadaw township, Monya district, Sagaing region), a combined force of Ngwe Dwin Revolution Force (NDRF), AMT Ground Guerrilla Force and Middle Revolutionary Technical Front (MRTF) carried out a drone attack on military forces extorting money from people on the Ayadaw-Monywa Highway at around 10 am. The combined force also carried out another drone attack on military soldiers hiding in a nearby house after fleeing the first drone attack. Two military soldiers were killed, and some others were injured.
