On 6 December 2022, in Maung Ma Ywar Thit village of Kawkareik township (Kawkareik district, Kayin state), the artillery rounds fired by the Myanmar military troops landed in the village and injured a 30-year-old school teacher and a 7-year-old child at around 12 pm.
