On 6 December 2022, in Hseng Taung (Ywar Haung) village of Hpakant township (Mohnyin district, Kachin state), the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) launched drone strikes against the Myanmar military troops and police forces at around 9 am. The drone strikes landed inside the police station and killed one police officer and injure five others.
