On 5 December 2022, near Kya Htoe village of Pakokku township (Pakokku district, Magway region), joint forces of the People's Defense Force - Pakokku and Myit Chay- Kyun Chaung Defence Force carried out mine attack against the Myanmar military troops and Pyu Saw Htee traveling with a car and six motorbikes on Kanma-Myitchi Road. The mine attack killed at least four military troops, including two officers.
