On 4 December 2022, near Maung Ma Kan village (Launglon township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of the Launglon PDF, the Dawei Guerrilla Revolution Force, the Tanintharyi Region People's Defense Force, the Yephyu People's Defense Force, the Dawei Defense Team and the Dawei Dragon People Defence Force carried out two mine attacks against three Myanmar military vehicles, which came to assist the troops in the village, on the Thone Htat Kwayt road with 36 mines. One of the vehicles caught on fire. Casualties unknown.
