On 4 December 2022, in Shwepyithar township (Yangon-North district, Yangon region), a combined force of the Yangon Urban Guerrilla Army and the Northern District PDF attacked traffic police and police, who were checking motorcycles at the 14th junction at the exit of Shwepyithar bridge, with two remote mines at around 9 am. The attack was carried out under the Operation 'Nan Htike Aung'. Three traffic police were killed and two police were injured.
