Around 7 December 2022 (week of), Russian forces shelled the car of Fakty ICTV journalists who were covering the situation at the frontline near Bakhmut (coded to Bakhmut, Donetsk region). The journalists believe that Russian forces tracked them down by a drone and opened fire, despite the fact that the journalists wore specially marked body armor and helmets. No casualties.
