On 21 November 2022, an explosive leftover from a tank exploded in Aden - Al Basatin (Dar Sad) killing 1 civilian and injuring 1 other. The explosion took place as a civilian was trying to cut through the gun of an old tank triggering a shell. The source claimed that the tank was used in the 2015 war but did not specify whether it was used by Houthi or anti-Houthi forces.
