On 20 November 2022, 4 rockets fired by from Syria hit an empty land in Karkamis town, Gaziantep. Although Turkey blamed SDF/YPG for the attack, Liberation Army of Afrin (HRE) claimed responsibility, reporting that 3 soldiers were killed and 4 others were injured in the attack. However fatality claims were not confirmed by any other source.
