On 20 November 2022, an IED planted by Al Shabaab detonated, targeting government security forces (SNA) convoy travelling in between Baidoa and Daynuunay village, near Korow-Rooge village (Baydhaba, Bay). There were no fatalities. Three soldiers were injured. Al Shabaab claimed responsibility.
