On 24 November 2022, in Kamaing town (Hpakant township, Mohnyin district, Kachin state), a bomb explosion occurred at the Kamaing town general administration office at around 12 noon and killed a clerk and injured two other staff including an administrator. No group claimed responsibility for the act.
