On 23 November 2022, in Mon Hla village (Khin-U township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the military carried out an airstrike on the village by using a Mi-35 helicopter at 2 pm. RFA reported that four people, including a 7-year-old child, were killed and two others were injured. Irrawaddy reported that four civilians, including a seven-year-old child and six members of local people's defense force were killed by the airstrike. VOA and Myanmar Now reported that six members of local people's defense force and two civilians including an old woman and a 7-year-old child were killed. Fatalities coded as 8, using the recent estimate of VOA and Myanmar Now.
