On 23 November 2022, in Sanchaung township (Yangon-West district, Yangon region), a bomb explosion occurred at the noodle shop near the Gwa market on the Ba Ho road in Kyun Taw (North) ward at 7:30 pm. Due to the explosion, a 38-year-old man, the nephew of the shop owner, who was eating at the noodle shop was injured and died while being taken to the hospital. No group claimed responsibility for the act.
