On 22 November 2022, in Monywa township (Monywa district, Sagaing region), unidentified local defense forces carried out a mine attack against a vehicle carrying around three Myanmar military soldiers from the Chaung-U township general administration department office at around 5 pm. The DVB reported that three soldiers were injured and one of them sustained critical injuries while the Irrawaddy reported that one of them was believed to be killed. Fatalities coded as 0 for the lowest estimates.
