On 21 November 2022, in Se Gyi village of Kale township (coded as Kale) (Kale district, Sagaing region), the Kale-based Myanmar military artillery unit fired artillery rounds into the village at around 12 pm. An artillery shell landed in the village and killed a 63-year-old woman who was suffering from gastritis. The house was also damaged.
