On 20 November 2022, between Kyauk Yit (East) and Tha Yet Thar villages (Kyauk Yit (East)) (Myaung township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), the Myaung Bo Tauk Tun attacked 10 military patrols coming out from the police station with two land mines, killing 2 and injuring 3 military soldiers.
