On 19 November 2022, near Hmaw Si Zar village (Hpakant township, Mohnyin district, Kachin state), an unidentified armed group with masks in a Surf car threw a grenade that exploded in a KTV room of military soldiers (LID-33) at around 10:40 pm. DVB and Eleven Media reported a fatality and an injury and Khit Thit Media reported 5 fatalities and 3 injuries. Fatalities coded as 1 for the lowest estimates.
