On 19 November 2022, in Myitkyina town (Myitkyina township, Myitkyina district, Kachin state), a bomb planted by an unidentified armed group exploded in a construction material shop in Aung Nan ward at around 4 pm, killing two and injuring 2 other locals. On the same day, Another bomb planted by an unidentified armed group exploded in a restaurant in Tet Kone ward, killing an employee.
