On 19 November 2022, Turkish forces carried out airstrikes against PKK militants in the vicinity of Direbi village, Gire Sexnasir, Gire Roj, Gire Hiwa, Gunde Bepalan, Dola Balayan, Gire Balayan, Gire Zergele and Gunde Sile areas (Kurdish names) in Qandil mountain region (Silsilat Jibal Qandil) of Erbil. The airstrikes were presumably carried out as part of the operation Claw-Sword launched by Turkish Air Forces on the same day, a series of airstrikes conducted against the YPG and SDF positions in Northern Syria and against PKK forces in Northern Iraq. Casualties unknown.
